Provide multi organisational, multidisciplinary forum for sharing collective knowledge, experience and best practice and develop sector wide clinical recommendations and standards.
Program Oversight
Oversee the development and delivery of the network’s programme aims and objectives.
Data Monitoring
Monitor the data flows of the ICUs across the SWL to support the effective delivery of services.
Clinical Advisory
Provide clinical advice to the wider ICS and NHSE London regarding the planning, commissioning, and delivery of critical care services and to guide investment decision.
Guidance Review
Review national and other guidance in
relation to critical care services and provide advice to stakeholders regarding its application in
SWL.
Winter Planning
Develop a network plan for winter pressures / surge including beds in alignment with wider sector winter planning arrangements.
Best Practice
Share and disseminate best practice across
the ICS and Region, establish ‘best practice’ to support the effective delivery of services.
Stakeholder Alignment
Interface with SWL UEC and Elective Recovery forums and any other as applicable to ensure work plans are aligned and to manage shared risks and issues.
Issue Resolution
Identify, resolve and/or escalate any system or local issues or risks that may hinder delivery.
